    postwar signed KC photo collectors

    Anyone have an interest in the above ? Seems a facet apart from normal militaria collectors who only want pre-45 items, I've always preferred direct vet contact as I'm mostly a researcher/writer. Aside from my obvious area (SS) I've also sought out many of the Stuka related KC holders as they're overlooked despite immense numbers of missions. Also an interest in E-Boat KC holders and the higher aces when they were still alive. Trying to find those with trade interest on the Internet is less than easy, despite the obvious interest in signed photos prompted by OdR and other groups.

              So what are you actually looking for. I know you are doing your 4th book but can you give us an idea what you need - SS Officers from a specific division etc.

                Next is actually the 5th book on SS/Police German Cross holders (1 Silver and 3 Gold vols done). Looking for the following, e-mail me direct if you can assist at yewrg@comcast.net

                photos of GC holders (with or without the award) from Polizei Division and SS Cavalry Units. I have name lists for this and the next 2 areas if unsure of your photos as to catagory.

                Echelon commander photos, men not awarded the decoration (Rgt, Btl, Abt level) for those units

                Ia (1st staff officers), though no photos needed if awarded the KC

                Document copies (any military award) to GC holdes or signed by them from those units

                Ceremonies, award presentation shots, etc.

                Eventual fates of holders, mostly needed are EM/NCO ranks who survived the war
