    U-Boot Combat Clasp Document

I have been offered this document. The present owner has had it for at least 15 years. What are your thoughts on it - good or bad?

Any award document collectors/experts out there? I really need to know if this thing is good or not.

Well the F.d.U.Ausb. was Viktor Schütze, i'm not familiar with his signature so can give no opinion other than it doesn't look like 'Schütze'. From what i can gather that command had no relation to the F.d.U.Norwegen. You certainly shouldn't have the stamp of one command along with the signature of the commander of a completely different one.

Excellent information, Simon! That is exactly the first way to analyze award documents. Does the signature and stamp make sense? In this case it looks like it doesn't. Thanks, Tom
