Booklet with Himmler dedication and signature

    Hi everybody,

I recently found this rather scarce booklet "Herbstparade der SA" which was published in 1933.
I bought it for a rather decent price and there was no word of a signature or something like that - especially not from Himmler.
Anyway - at home I was rather surprised to find this dedication and the signature. But after examining for a while I´m not sure at all if this might be really Himmlers signature - especially regarding the last letters of his name.
But I´m not an expert in signatures at all - so what do you think ???
Does anybody of you out there have something to compare ???

    Many thanks in advance,

    ustufvorwaerts

Your Himmler signature is 100% authentic.

I agree. A very nice Himmler signature.

It looks like someone has written the script above it, and then asked Himmler to sign below.

              A very nice find.

No. I think it's more Himmler asking someone in his staff to write the dedication before he signed it.

                  Could well be.

There could have been a batch of these things for him to sign and dish out.

but there´s another thing I´m still wondering about - why would someone of Himmlers staff (probably a ss-member) use the word "Weihnachten" when especially in the german vocabulary of that time the word "Julfest" should have been preferred ???
                      Any thoughts about that ???

                      Cheers,

                        They are two different things.
Julfest is celebrated on 21 December and Weihnachten is Christmas.
                        Max.

It was well into the late '30s before Himmler was able to openly discourage Weihnachten in favour of Julfest.
