Hello all;
I'm looking for service information for Erich Kiechhoefer. I know he served in WWI in East Africa and that when he got back he was the Kommander at two different Wehrbezirks in 1938 (Korbach and Gotha) with the rank of Oberstleutnant (E). Promoted to Oberst in 1.11.40. Still serving in 1944.
What I would really like is;
What are all of the awards he earned? (I was told he has the EK1 and black wound badge)
Is there a photo of him? Any photos?
Any other minor details about his pre-WWII career and WWII career are welcome.
