Top one is a promotion doc the bottom is a performance or character report.

and why do they appear to be different units or are they part of the same one ,any idea as to the signitures.

Well you asked what they were not what they say.

The first one states that on the orders of the regimental commander, Standartenführer Herrmann, Drygala is to be promoted to unterscharführer as of 1st July '41.

The bottom shows his date of birth, date of entry into the W-SS and the date of his last promotion. He served as an NCO cook showing extraordinary conscientiousness, is honest and i can't quite translate the last part but the gist is that he's a top bloke and all round good egg

The units are not the same though are connected. When SS-TK IR 2 disbanded in '42 part of it was used to form the TK kradschützen Btl.

The signatures i'm afraid i'll have to leave to the TK experts.
