Glowing postcard. Help!

Hi friends

Just a simple question. I have a Nurnburg 1933 rally postcard that glows under a UV light. Does that automatically mean it's a copy?

Please post a scan of your card, borh front and back. I may be able to advise if your card is one known to have been reprinted.

I took a couple of quick pictures of the card but didn't do a very good job. The card is actually 147mm H. x 104mm W. and perfectly straight edged. It's slightly yellowed by age so the pics don't show the true color.

This card design has been reprinted in recent years. My immediate impression based upon what you have shown me is that this is a reprint.

A genuine speciman of this card bearing the Sonderstempel of the RPT would be worth 50-75 USD depending upon franking and condition.

Is it possible to see a high resolution scan of the reverse of your card?

I would love to examine it in person, but that can't happen, I realize.

I would like to see a close up of the address lines in particular.

Thanks for your help on this, Ramon. Sorry, but my scanner and I are at odds with one another right now....Here's a closeup of part of the addy line. This is about the best I can do with my junk camera.

Thanks for the close up. I'm reasonably certain that this card is a reprint. I could only be certain with the card in hand.

What really made me suspicious about this card in the first place was the glow thing. What a pity! It's such a nice colorful card. I didn't pay very much for it so I'm not about to lose any big bucks.
