            I was wondering when someone would start such a thread Can't wait to see what else is out there..Here are a few of my transitional helmet portraits

            First one shows a soldier of the 25th IR which was part of 4th Corp; XIXth Army; 2nd Motorized Division - Commanded by General Paul Bader. Consisted of the 5th, 25th, and 92nd Motorized Infantry Regiments.

              Infanterie Rgt 11 was part of 10th Army; XVI Corp; 14th Infantry Division - Commanded by General Peter Weyer. Consisted of the 11th, 53rd, and 116th Infantry Regiments.
