    Death card

    Hey all,

    Have no experience in this field and have never really collected paper items,aside from a kriegsmarine booklet, hopefully this the write forum for this..Bought this Deathcard\certificate a few days back, dont really know much about them..Could someone please give me some info and if possible, a general translation, esp the name,rank,place of death

        Alois Feichtenschlager, who was an Uffizier (sergeant) in an Infantry Unit, died on 11th of February 1943 on the Eastern Front. This sort of remembrance cards were given to family, friends, and people who visited the funeral.
