        Hi,

        1) Probably Serbian Order of Saint Sava (?Commander's Cross Grade, possibly only Knight's Cross grade - you'd need to show the suspension loop.
        2) Ehrenzeichen der III. Marine Brigade von Loewenfeld 1st Class Cross (Freikorps award)
        3) Auszeichnungen der II. Marine Brigade Wilhelmshaven (Ehrhardt) - Verdienstabzeichen (Freikorps award)
        4) Hindenburg Cross for NON-combattants
        5) Schlesien Adler 2nd Class (Freikorps award) - looks like a nice enamel example
        6) Wehrmacht 18 Yr Long Service Award
        7) Wehrmacht ?12 Yr (possibly 4 Yr) Long Service Award - can't remember the regs as to which this should be.
        8) as per Theodor above.

The small round first medal on the medal bar is probably quite an important one - any chance of a close-up.

As for ID - you'll need the pro's for that!

        Regards
        Mike

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Thanks so much for the great help Theo and Mike.

          1) Probably Serbian Order of Saint Sava (?Commander's Cross Grade, possibly only Knight's Cross grade - you'd need to show the suspension loop.
Unfortunately, the suspension loop is hidden by bow tie, but I think that it is Knight's cross grade, too. I wonder when he were given this and Bulgarian Order.

The small round first medal on the medal bar is probably quite an important one - any chance of a close-up.
I think that it is a button of the frock coat.

          Best regards
          Haruki

I could be way off base, but the coloring of this photo makes me think it may even be a modern photo.

              Omg!!!!!

              Oh my God.
I would not have believed this if I did not see it.
That's a Commanders' Cross of Saint Sava.
If you want to sell that photo please call me.
This man-a kick-ass Freikorps officer is wearing (@1938/39) two illegal Freikorps awards in this photo-something I have seen done twice before in 11 years+ of looking.
The kicker is the noncombat HK.
I only have the 1931 Reichsmarine list-but he'll stick out like a sore thumb in the 1939 list.
              GREAT PICTURE!!!
              .
