Never mind the format, thanks for sharing it with us!!!!

What I like to see are entries on the reverse of Besitzzeugnis and Urkunde with actions etc....not many units did that!

Shame about the Soldbuch but never the less a very nice group you have there Redviper.

Have you researched this group yet, signatures, locations etc?

Yes I read of the www.lexikon-der-Wehrmacht.de side a many of this batalion , I don't have any so great interest in the signatures I feel more around interesting unities . But I read that this batalion was one of the first that comes to his the flag to Elberus

Interesting mention of the 'seilbahn-stellung' there are one or two photos a seilbahn built by the 1 GD in one of the books i have, i'll have to see if i can find it for you.
