Hello, I am new here and I don't know if I am in the right place but I want to ask if someone knows the magazine "Die Kunst im Deutschen Reich"? I want to know if it is very rare because I cannot find to much about it. I would be gratefull if someone can help me out

Hi Pascal,

first of all welcome to the forum.
The "Kunst im Dritten Reich" magazines are not very hard to find and therefore not too expensive unless you try to get the whole years together.
A single magazine should not cost more than 5 - 10 EURO - always according to its content.

"Die Kunst im Dritten Reich " is indeed not too expensive exept for the issue which has an article on all the different types of Knights Cross award documents or "Ritterkreuzmappe".

Rkdek, yes I did some search on the internet and I saw also that issue. But I have an magazine of 1942 which on the internet goes to a price of 55 $? Perhaps these people want to sell it for that price but can't?

5 to 10 Euro seems very low to me, I haven't seen one at that price for a while. (but then again I don't spend time on ebay). They're very nice publications with production values more like a book than a magazine.

Hello Peter, yes that's right. A few weeks ago I saw some magazines go to 30 euro on ebay.

These are quite huge magazines and are becoming somewhat harder to locate in good condition. Many you will see have terrible foxing on the spine or spots on the covers. These were commonly available on ebay a while back for about 10-12 Euros but as of late have been commanding higher prices. Completing a collection is a challenging endeavor as the publication first came out in 1937 and went to nearly the end of 1944.
