    What does O.U. mean?

    I have a few fieldpostletters, which are dated:

    O.U. den 14 September 1943.

    Can anyone tell me what O.U. means?

    OU stands for "Ortsunterkunft" which means as much as the (temproray) issuing headquartes.

          In this context it means something like 'unit accommodation', not headquarters.
          Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
