All:
I am currently writing an article for the Journal of the Orders and Medals Society of America. Most of my subject area has been quite difficult to track down in photos, and most of what I have has come directly from the veterans or their families.
This particular photo came from the family which I have become very well acquainted with, particularly with the veteran himself before he passed away in January.
This is one of their favorite photos of him, and had it above their TV in an open frame for ages. They have loaned it to me for use in my article.
I would like to get it "cleaned up" for use in both the article, as well as print them off and frame a nice 8x10 for their home. They were very proud of their father and I believe it would really be a touching gesture for all the help they have given me.
I'm looking for someone who can do a good job cleaning this up to where it would look good printed at an 8x10 level. The original photo is 5x7, and I can scan it as large as required for someone to work on it.
Any suggestions, links or leads would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Dave
