One of the main items in my collection are photo albums. I have 5 currently and think they give the best bang for the buck since they can offer so much more in terms of research, human side, and cover other areas of collecting (units, medals, equipment, etc.)
Anyway, I recently bought a few new albums and I will be posting them to the forum to help me with my research. But first I have a question. Some of the photos are loose or falling out. I usually don't try and repair any items in my collection as that adds to their history, but in this case I know exactly what photo goes where. What is the consensus on repairing photos to the album? If so, how is the best way to go about repairing them? Some albums have photos glued in with a single spot in the middle of the photo, some have corner stickers, and others have two oval shaped stickers and use two per photo. Can I still get any of these items?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
