Mein Kampf presented to Kurt Maier

    Hi, everyone,

I need some opinions on this.
Just find a copy of Mein Kampf jubliee version,
which was presented to Kurt Maier (oak leaves winner??)

Can anybody give me a bio on this guy?
The dealer is offering this book for US$1000,
i know a mint copy of this jubliee can wort around US$350-400,
with regard to its original owner, do you guys think it worths the additional bucks?

Well, you would have to have 100% proof it really was his. A photo with him holding it, or his own signature in it, something like that.

Otherwise, it's a nice version with a nice insert.

It's not the Kurt Meyer. Spelt differently. Sorry.

It reputedly belongs to THE Kurt Maier, also an Oakleaf winner.

With the right provenance (such as a picture as proposed above) or in a set with more of his stuff (imagine the Knight's Cross), this would be something every collector would want.

The dedication is from the mayor of Mannheim only. $1,000 is way too much, less than $500 is more realistic.
