a German 1940 map of Europe

I'm a helmet collector, but I also try to buy maps of Poland when I find them. I purchased this 1940 dated map of Europe because I found it interesting to see a post-1939 German view of Europe.

What's interesting to me is how Poland simply disappears on this map.

I'm also into vexillology (the study of flags), so this map had a second area of interest for me, as it contains national descriptions and flags at the bottom.

Judging by the lack of posts regarding maps on this forum, there don't seem to be many map collectors hanging around, but I thought I'd ask a question anyway:

Has anyone ever seen a 1942-1945 dated map of Europe published by this company, with the national flags and descriptions at the bottom?

And here's another question: how many post-1942 German maps has anyone seen or have in their collection?

I'd love to find a German map of Europe dated 1942 or later.

      Thanks,

      -- Kenny

I have a map of Europe printed in Norway, 1944. As Norway was occupied it's a German version of Europe.

My favourite map is actually one dated 1915. It was published by the British newspaper The Daily Mail and was designed to let people follow the war on the map. Fascinating to see how the face of Europe has changed via maps in the last 100 years or so.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
