Hi all,
I wanted to share this photo with you. I attended a New Year's Eve party at an establishment two blocks from my house. The building that the party was held in is a renovated relic form the early part of the last century, and is now a gathering place for weddings and other events. While wondering through an adjacent building that is used for the groom's wedding preparation, I saw this and had to take a photo. There were many other period (non-military) of couples on their wedding day, and I am sure that the owners have no idea that the gentleman in the pic. is a German soldier. I believe he is wearing a sports badge for war wounded. I plan to try to buy the photo and period frame for my collection.
