Just in case the abbreviation is lost on anyone, OZAK = "Operationszone Adriatisches Küstenland"; the Oberste-Kommissar of this territory was Gauleiter und Reichsstatthalter / SS-Obergruppenführer Dr. jur. Friedrich "Friedel" Rainer, with HQ in Trieste; the command also had an HSSPF assigned, this being Rainer's old Austrian Nazi comrade SS-Gruppenführer und Generalleutnant der Polizei Odilo "Globus" Globocnik.
