Christmas "Bierzeitung"

In my collection I have a few unit made 'Bierzeitung' - Beer Newspaper is not exactly what is meant, but rather something to read during the the off hours.

Here is one from the Funk Uebertragungs Kp. 614 in Russland 1942.

Here is another example of unit newspapers. This one is from the Auxiliary Cruiser ORION published on board while the surface raider was on her four times around the world crusie of destruction.

BEER LABELS FROM THE ORION

Here is a most unusual souvenir from the Auxiliary Cruiser ORION. When the surface raider left on her war cruise an ample supply of German beer was part of the ship's stores. A seaman saved a label from the German beer and one from the Japanese beer that was part of the supplies restocked while visiting Japan for supplies.
