Coincidence or copies?

I missed out on this nice lot from U1200 on EBAY, but I see that Thomas Huss has many of the same photos. Now I know Thomas is one of the best, and i do not question him. Is it pure coincidence, maybe a set of copies from a friend, or a bad ebayer?

The pictures that are the same are probably kompanie propaganda photos and were widely distributed, not that uncommon from what I have gathered. It looks like the ebay group has a few of these as well as a few private photos mixed in.

I think Al's right although 'propaganda' isn't quite the right word for it. A ships photographer more like, you see it quite a lot in KM groups. You just want to make sure the story the group tells hangs together, ie. someone hasn't cobbled together photos from different boats etc.
