DAK soldiers with captured MK-II helmet

Hello, I have got these in a small lot of pictures I have recently bought. I would like to know if these are DAK Luftwaffe soldiers with british MK-II helmets? It seems that 2 German soldiers are wearing it in 2 pictures.

These pictures should have been taken in Greece. Would that make any sens to you? Thanks for your help.

Greece would make sense. They seem to be in an olive plantation (or whatever you call them) perhaps taken just after the end of the fighting in the spring of '41?
That would also discount them having anything to do with the DAK, unless of course they were later transferred to Africa.
I think that's a British pith helmet too.

Another thought, can you take a closer look at their footwear, are they wearing jump boots?? That might add Crete as a possibility.

Well that could be possible that these are Fallschirmjäger because I have bought pictures from Fallschirmjäger graves and the seller send me those pictures instead.

Here are bigger pictures from the boots. It does look like Fallschirmjäger boots.

FJ they are. Weren't those types of nets on helmets typical of NZ troops on Crete?
