    Question with KVK1 Award Doc

Purchased this mint KVK1 award doc from Detlev last week and had a few questions about it.

First I'm curious about the title of the recipient, "Regierungarat".......I have never heard of that and have no idea what that means. Secondly when it says Fuhrer-Hauptquartier does that mean the doc was issued from Hitler's HQ?

And last but not least....who is Meissner? His original signature is on the bottom right corner of the doc which I left most of it out on the scan. I've seen his signature on many civil award docs in the past and would like to see a photo of him or know what his job was.....political guy or what?

I know it might be a bit much for one man to research but any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance,
    Mike

        Hello,

Meissner is the personal secretary of Hitler. I believe he was the head of Parteikanzlei and in duty for all civil matters.

Regierungsrat is a title of a someone who works in the government. I believe it's one of the higher positions.

Fuhrerhauptquartier. The signature of Meissner and Hitler are stamps (or printed) and not the original signatures. They had a lot of these printed (but with other places for instance Berlin.... etc.). Where the fuhrer at that time was, that kind of blanco award document was used. Fuhrerhauptquartier was very easy to use as he had several of those Fuhrerhauptquartiere.
