Help with PK Photo Camo Identification

I just recently acquired this PK photograph and had thought the camo worn was standard Army splinter pattern. However, after looking closely at the helmet covers, it looks like something else. Can anyone assist in identifying the camo?

    Thanks!

        Hello

It is because it is not german but I guess it is dutch (?) Maybe a hint to the origin of the unit.

Thanks SO much! Looking at the picture through a loop I wasn't convinced that it was splinter pattern! Thanks for the good eyes and knowledge!

                Servus Ken,

Like others have mentioned the caption is in Dutch. Go to Babel Fish at http://world.altavista.com/ and type in the caption from the photo and select "Dutch to English" translation. You will find your answer.

                Viel Glück!

                    Maybe I can help .

                    The war in the East

After a number of encirclement battles from Byalystok till Wjasma and Brjansk, the destruction of the Red Army became a fact.

On the photograph: a anti armour gun in action against the enemy.

In red: Photograph service ''nation and state''

                    Greetings, Thomas
