removing mold

i got a book that has mold growing on it, it has some painting on the front so i dont think wood grain alchoal would help much. any comments

A don't quote me thing.

I seem to remember reading on the net that to remove mold from old photos was to leave them out in the sun to dry out the mold and then brush it off.

Another way to remove mold is to microwave it for a few seconds. Just don't keep it in there to start a fire, just long enough to kill the mold. This is what I do to old books which are musty and have mold on them. Once you have nuked the mold, brush it off.
