Hi,

I will show you this strange photo, to notice that it is everything to the contrary part: decorations, the hands that tighten him, the eagle on the breast........eek:

I have no experience in photos but....could someone explain me something about it??

Hi Ivan,

The photo has been printed using the wrong side of the negative - therefore everything is reversed - eagle on left instead of right, awards on right instead of left.

I have underline me too that but, when you printed the wrong side, the foto can like this?

The negative was reversed when the photograph was made. This isn't the first example I've seen where this has occurred.

This is what it should look like. As PD says it is quite common especially in books about the war.

Sometimes in error, but certainly a few were intentionally reverse-printed to "get the right direction of figures", I believe. Even today some publication designers do it.
