Every now and then an item comes along that makes you say: Boy, what a period in history to be interested in and this is why I collect.

This may be a foolish question, but I am curious, are the drawings that you have shown here done by hand on blank pages of the book, or are they printed there? I don't really have a frame of reference for this item, but it certainly is lovely
Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...
              All the best,
              Chris

The whole book is HAND DONE on PARCHMENT and all pages shown are in the book. The printing and original art work was done by the students and presented to Ley on his visit on his birthday and the date is in the front of the book. A question that the veteran couldn't answer was did the book come out of the school or out of Ley's home, he couldn't remember.

The dedication page is signed by eventual SA-Gruf. Otto Gohdes, who served, from 30.06.1936 to 05.03.1945, as Burgkommandant der Reichsführerschule Ordensburg ”Die Falkenburg am Krössinsee”.

                  Best wishes,
