Group photo showing improvised winter camo.

I got this photo the other day for a few dollars in a flea market. I am not a photo collector at all, so would like to know your thoughts about it. Value, quality, rarity, whatever.
I like it because they are wearing improvised winter camo, and look like a bunch of gypsies. They seam to have some kind of identification band sewn on their arms.
What would you guys say about the location? Russia 1941-42 in winter would be my guess.

What is this mark at the back of the photo?

      Hi JL,
Nice winter photo. The mark on the back of the photo is a photo studio stamp. I guess you could make a few dollars if you want to sell it, but I wouldn't value it over 10$.

The Germans did wear color cloth strips around their arms on the improvised winter camo. This was to distinguish them from the enemy when everyone was wearing white camo. The color could be changed as necessary. For examples of situations in which this would have been a useful technique, read "Blood Red Snow".
