thank you , I am glad you sent that . However , I am trying to find a picture that was on here a while ago of him in his obergruppenfuehrer uniform without the medals on it , but showing a pretty good shot of the medal pattern.

Thanks , that style uniform with the ribbon bars is what I’m looking for . Is there a source to identify medal patterns And placement ? Meaning , I’m trying to ID a tunic , it has no numbers on it and the manufacturers label is torn out , the picture that I found on here ( like a dummy didn’t screen shot it ) showed the pattern perfectly .

I’d say your best bet for that type of research would be to post the uniform for peer review in the SS Forum. Everyone there is an expert on everything (just kidding) but there are many knowledgable members who can help you evaluate a tunic for authenticity and then help determine if there is enough evidence to make an identification beyond that.
