I have recently purchased this family photo of a "Whermatch soldier" in his Waffenrock sounded bywhich appears to be his mother,father and brother. I guess he is infantry EM denoted by the white piping. His sholder boards seem to display a "52" but im not quite sure if its a "2" or a "7" Any ideas to which "Infantry Division" he belongs to? <O</O
At the bottom of the photo their is a signature but as i dont know "German" its too hard to read, can any one decyther a name there ? as i would love to try and find out more about the soldier and his unit history, if any one can add any info i would be most appricative
