    identification of officers

    Hello all.

Recently I found this photo on the internet (I guess it was this forum?!?):

Who are the men seen in this photo? When and where was it taken?

Please help, any comments are welcome. Thanks in advance.

I don't know who they are, but they look like they want to kill someone!

Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

Yes, Standartenführer Kurt Meyer (aka Panzermeyer), that's right.

          But who are the others??

            Hello

The second officer (ie the Stubaf. just after Panzermeyer) is Hubert Meyer (Ia of the 12. SS Pz.Div.).
            Regards
            Denis

Second man (the Sturmbannführer in the back) can not be Hubert Meyer. He got the Deutsche Kreuz in Gold in May 1943. And I can not see a DKiG....
That photo was taken surely after that date, because Kurt Meyer is Standartenführer already (promotion date: 21. June 1943).

But thanks for the suggestion. Every hint is welcome.

Yes, the photo was taken at the SS-Truppenübungsplatz Beverloo.

In order to get this old thread up again:

Is there anyone who in the meantime dug out some information about the men we can see in the posted photograph walking behind Kurt Meyer at Beverloo?
