Does it reduce the selling value of the award if the award document has been glued to something (cardboard etc.) by the veteran

Keep in mind, depending on the unit (panzers, u-boat, SS or some such) involved, it the action (Stalingrad, Normandy, for instance) a document will still have value.

In most cases yes, but it also depends on how it was done and if it has stained or otherwise damaged the document and as Hank points out, the unit, award, circumstances etc. Also play a roll.
