I got a photo album from Norway with pictures from Stavanger and Narvik.

On one page there is photos from a "Ferntrauung" in Stavanger - what is that?

I attach some photos. One that tells who they are.

If im not mistaken its a marriage.(at a distance), both cant be present at the same place when being wed. The solution is doing at a ceremony at two places.

It was even possible in the german army to mary a fallen soldier. this is also a form of "Ferntrauung".

Yes, that seems to be the case.

I found ther "Trauung" is wedding and "fern" is distance.
