Hi Guys,,

I picked up my friends cousins stuff and am posting it...The dog tag is very small and thick , I have never seen anything like it. Turns out I searched his name and he was on the U 85. The fotos are in a pocket sized album and the cover has a painting of the ship ES Robert Ley, I think he was on this ship first before U 85. Earlier you mentioned som uboat photos from Norway. the photos you posted here, are they from the same source ? If so, is it possible to see any of those ?

Loole,,iam trying to sort it out from dates,,,It seems he was on this Ley ship fist,,give me some time to read the backs,,the fotos are hard to get out of the small album,,,yes, it is the same source. His cousin told me he trained for the KM in Norway,,I have a foto of his Marineschule, it is in Wesermünde from 1940, the schule is called Scheer,,,I think I have one Norway foto, let me scan
