Photo of Uboat sailor w/badges 44/45
Hello all,
I just purchased a wonderful image of a Uboot sailor and I want to get started researching him. His name appears to be Claus Pickering. He was awarded the EK 2nd class, the Uboat Badge as well as the Uboot Frontspange. This is a wartime photo which measures about 7" x 4.5". There is a photographer's mark which looks something like "Jchvoff" or something similar. I also got the embroidered Kreigsmarine patch which he is wearing (still attached to a piece of the Collani). A lucky find. Any help or opinions welcome.
