    German artillery pictures

    After seeing so many great pictures of german panzers on this forum, i wonder if any of you have similar pictures of german artillery.
    I would say, the bigger the caliber the better !

        First gun is a 15 cm s.FH 18.

        Second gun is a french 32 cm K (E)(f) M74 railway gun, made by Schneider is think.Weight was around 160 tons, shell weighed almost 400 kg's.

          It is a pity that "Queen of the Battlefield" gets less attention than tanks (count the number of books about artillery compared to the books about panzer).

          I know a couple of collectors who are really devoted to artillery, but they're not with us (yet).

          Here is a rare picture of 24cm K3 - taken in September 1940. Click the picture for a larger image.

                  I am a fan of the field guns myself. Here are a few shots from and album II./Artillerie-Regiment 55 .. 1st photo shows a 15cm S.FH 18 being prepared to be deployed

                          Btw Akira great photo of the K3.It is the first time I have seen a private photo.. I had read it took 25 men 1 and 1/2 hours to prepare the gun to fire..a lot of work..

                            I thought you wanted big calibre so hence I didnt at first post but here are mine - can anyone advise what sort of guns they are - sorry to be a dumb ass but how else do you learn
