Nice to see a clear example! One of the 1941 16/18 Armee's special unit markings for operation Barbarossa. This is for 253.Infanterie-Division.

dear rick ,akira is right ,just to add this division fought in france and russia nord of newel
and welikije luki in 1942 at rshew and south of gomel it continued fighting in this front until taken prisioner by the russians.
they had also another marking with the dots in form of circle one each side below the T.
