My new Wehrpass-Czech

I finally have all the variations of Wehrpass now, and this is a pretty nice one to fill in the late war gap (more to come!).
Blond haired, Blue eyed, Muscular, and young-a perfect German soldier(well, Sudeten German).
He served in the German Heer from October 1944 to Spring 1945 (may have been KIA or taken prisoner, as his final unit entry only has a start date).
On March 1st, 1945, he was promoted to obergrenadier.
Any more info you guys can get out of it is appreciated!

Promotion(although no battle entries, he must have fought to earn this)

6 weeks basic, 10 days on the road to Italy then 3 months with the replacement batl. of the 278 Inf.Div. before joining his final unit. I don't agree that he must have fought to earn that small promotion, possible but i think it came at the end of his final training with the division.

I guess you are right as far as his promotion. He probably did well in training, and they gave him the promotion as a gesture for his good job, imo.
