It looks like an orginal to me... No red flags from what I can see.

Well, I will say I find the following things odd about it -
1. No spacing on the last name (not mandatory, but usually spaced)
2. Unit on same line as name
3. Period after 1944. Should not be there.
4. Poppe in parentheses. I really have not seen a doc yet where the commander felt the need to show his name. Normally the document is just signed. That is all.
Unless this was bought for less than $5.00, I would not buy it. Too wierd for me.
Any other opinions?
