Thank you gents for your input. Here is the complete photo, a nice view in itself, but it does show another truck, in the ditch, with what looks like the same unit marking. Sadly, it is no clearer.

That is the car of the "Kfz-Instandsetzungstrupp". "I" for Instandsetzung. The vehicle is the kleiner Instandsetzungskraftwagen Kfz.2. A Kradschützenkompanie had one of these "Trupps"

This might be the unit logo of the 711th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)??

This could be the unit.

Hi Kerry,

the Foto #600 shows a Scammell Pioneer heavy Artillery tractor R100 . The tractor
is in Service of the Luftwaffe. The Scammell ist towing tow trailer from a
Lw. Unit. The Lw. "Roadtrain" had an accident, the first trailer flips over like
a jackknife.

The "SS Scammel" #598 is a typ Pioneer SV2S recovery Vehicle. The tactical Sign
belongs to a SS Workshop Coy. The circle in the marking is a gear wheel.

After "the Westfeldzug" there are many Scammel´s in german Service in
various Roles as "Beutefahrzeuge"

Hi all,

I've got a photo that was posted before in the forum.
The TKZ in the photo is "composed of two characters". I have a photo of
a Luftwaffeneiheit wherein the TKZ consists of four figures.
Any idea whether there is a connection?

PS. This topic has Richard Woods said he will publish a Book on Unit Enblems. Is the book is already published ?
