I believe that is a US M3 General Grant tank.

A Landser passes beside a completely destroyed Lend-lease Valentine tank, carrying a PPSh submachinegun.
The picture was taken in early 1943 at Dubki, south of Ilmensee.
There are too many Dubki's in Russia. Here are two possibilities, close to Demjansk.

This Dubki is close to Pola, and I tend to think it is the most probable candidate.
