    Luftwaffe docs on the e-stand

    Hi Everyone

Just saw this doc for sale on the e-stand and would like to know if this is just a coinsidence or if I need to be worried - because I have one just like (almost).

    Everything is the same except

date, the reciever and regiment but maybe 241 regiment and 28 were both under oberst und regimentskomm. (somethings) command?

    Cheers Thomas

Well Flak Regiment 4 and II/Flak Regiment 241 were both in the same area in 1944/45. Can not find any reference to Flaksturm Regiment 28 in the same area at the moment but I woudln't worry about it.
It was common for a Flak Regiment Staff to take over other Battalions from Flak Regiments for administrative purposes etc.

The signature is that of Oberst Freimund von Arnim.

      /Ian

This site gives a few details....

          http://www.ww2.dk/ground/flak/flargt4.html
          http://www.ww2.dk/ground/flak/flargt241.html
          http://www.ww2.dk/ground/flak/flargt28.html

Here you can see that all elements were under 15 Flak Division in Hungary, some ending up in Vienna.
So towards the documents, at that point in time their actions must have come under the Staff of Flak Rgt. 4.
