                              Very nice lots over the past few days Bill and as always thanks for sharing!
                              in the photo directly above (Nov13 - Portrait - 26) notice the period photo shopped wound badge and from the look of it the whole tunic added by the studio, most interesting and really a rather poor resemblance to the badge! I really enjoy these period done portraits showing added medals etc.... this is a first for me seeing an entire tunic ensemble!

                              perhaps this photo was built using a photo of the man in civilian clothes using the head only? maybe the young man was KIA before a portrait could be taken and this was done by the family so they could have a photo of him in uniform? I would think it would cost a fair amount to do this back then, and if the man were alive he could have simply sat for a portrait in uniform for much less money leading me to believe it was done by the family? any writing on the back Bill?
