portrait #75 above is interesting, Six button M43 style tunic, Officer eagle and collar tabs and officers visor however NCO shoulder straps but no collar rank braid worn? great batch of photos added today Bill, as always thanks for taking the time out of your day to share these with us!

It's taking much longer to post these days and I hope the server completes it cycle soon so we can see what damage has been done. I remember we went through this once or twice before and many a photo has disappeared.
Portraits #72 & 74 are also NCO's wearing officer quality collar & breast eagles along with peaked caps with officer cords. I know Medical Feldwebels were authorized to wear such insignia/cap cords and I believe a few other Senior NCO Specialists in other fields could wear such insignia as well.

Feb13 - Portrait - 78 - These three portraits came in a small photo album...I think this is his brother as they almost look the same but the lips & ears appear to be different.Attached Files
