Thousands!!! Most are post card size...mixed in from me and many other Fellow members are larger frame size portraits, soldbuch size portraits, normal size snaps, negatives, larger than PC propaganda type photos.

I looked closely at that photo and they definitely are not SS or SS Polizei but appear to be normal soldiers. I thought at first they were GD but I didn't see any cufftitles on their tunics. Quite possible one of them picked up a helmet cover at some point in time or maybe left behind from a former occupant? Bill

Thousands eh? That's amazing. I'm working on my own postcard collection, although it doesn't come close to this one. I'm pushing 600 TR era examples and proably 200 Imperial as we speak, which is a start.

Thanks Bill. More nice ones again. My collection is here on the first page, but I noticed you have commented on it about a year ago. I wish my thread was a s organized as yours. I'm having trouble adding everything because I have not kept track of what I have already posted. I will have to go through the thread and somehow mark what I have already posted. It's going to be work in itself.
