      Thanks for the answer bill.
I just remembered that before i made a break from the hobby, you mainly showed technical photos and now i wondered if you changed your focus on portraits.

        Sven,

Well that depends if you stopped off at the pub on the way home but you did notice the breast eagle anyway.....so either that eagle is a factory blunder or he sewed it on the wrong way.

I still have alot of technical photos but the are mostly in photo albums. I have scanned very few albums as it takes ages to scan them. I've always loved to pick up portrait photos...now everyone is getting to see what I have picked up over all those years I was stationed and working in Germany. I'm still picking them up in large groups.....I brought back 157 portraits from Flonheim Military show a few weekends ago. I also had some smaller snapshot groupings which I normally don't bother scanning except a few of the more interesting shots. Bill

The bird looks sewn upside down.

Actually I think it has been reversed...what you are seeing is the back side of the eagle which explains that the head & beak facing the wrong way and the swastika (Hakenkreuz) is backwards.

              Yes Bill,

This is what I meant in my above comment. (upside down/reversed)
