Sorry for the poor photos, but this is all that's available from the seller at the moment. Was curious if there's a way to authenticate these in frame or if they look more like modern prints. I've compared to some legitimate museum examples online and they seem OK so far. Thanks.

Help on authenticating two poster

The first poster is a fantasy piece using a period image with text added implying that it was a wartime poster. Not worth the paper its printed on.
The second poster is a cheap reproduction. Again, not worth much.
Here is an original from my collection... A very hard to find poster!

It only looks darker as Hoover Institute darken and reduce their images to prevent people copying and using them.
My poster has also been linen backed for preservation which explains the expanse of white around the poster itself.
I sold two posters to Standford University - Hoover Institute last year and their collection is vast.
The one you posted has so much wrong with it that is stands out like dogs balls on a chicken.
The crisp white border and border dimension are all wrong. Poorly printed graphics and lack of printers serial# on bottom margin
are all massive red flags on the one you posted... I would also bet my house on this one lighting up like a Christmas tree when
put under a UV black light...
Poor repro all day long.

Websites, there is a lot of conflicting information on the internet which is why I am building my own website which will showcase my own collection of 140+ original posters. However I do not know when I will have this up and running, perhaps later this year.
There are many books out there on the subject, I will try and take a picture of what I have in my own library to show you a bit later...
Die Werbeplakate der Waffen-SS by my friend Andreas Vogt is one book that I am a big fan of as I personally contributed several of my own posters to it. Not to mention it is a beautifully put together book and well worth having in your library if SS posters are of an interest. It is only in German although I would still say it is worth having.
Other books that are more generalised on Propaganda such as 'Propaganda - The Art of Persuasion' are also worthy of having. This book is by Anthony Rhodes and has been around for many years and there are quite a few books out there that are clones or very close copies of the book. It both Allied and Axis propaganda so if you are only after Axis related books there are other options.

Hi,
WCMNOW2020 this is the second topic in which you imply that you have this poster for sale, when sales are usually only possible on the e-stand (you need to pay a fee of 35 usd).
The photos and paper subforum is to identify and discuss items, NOT to propose them for sale.
See You

All the books which exist, even the recent ones, are only showing a small fraction of what exist.
And they all avoid to discuss on the "variations" and sizes matters...
Even advanced "local" collectors have difficulties to identify all the variations which exist for their own country (for example France).
See You
