Himmler Signature - Authentic?

In my collection, I always thought it was good. Was advised it may not be good. Thoughts?

The signature is fake, and the content of the letter is not believable.

Absolutely bad and not even close to a real Himmler signature.

Hi Mike
don't feel too bad - there are more wrong signatures about than right, however Himmler is one of the most prolific signers during the 3rd Reich. You would easily find a better example, look it over well, if you look at it the burnt corners are a real give away and the torn top corners? I try to ask if this damage is logical or a naïve attempt at ageing.
Everyone makes mistakes - particularly back before computers with such good photographs of what is right and wrong! also nowadays you can also post for opinions.

Himmler signed a lot, but the demand is high and that pushes prices up. And popularity creates a lot of fakes. Unfortunately mike 1217 you got one of those.
