    Hitler Stationary

Looking for some thoughts and translation of this stationary that is part of my collection acquired from an American who worked with Military Intelligence during WW2. I have had it for 25 years and got it from the Americans widow. The manilla envelope has a stamp on it I cannot read and was curious wha it represents or says. Inside are 6 pieces of stationary titled as shown. "Leader and Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht". One page also says "Please indicate the date and fall (?) content in the business symbol above" according to the internet translation, but something is not quite right there if I am reading it correctly. The other 5 pages do not have these words printed on them. Any thoughts or comments on these would be most welcome. Thanks.

May I suggest that the text beneath the heading reads: (Please indicate the date and short content in the answer above.) and it presumes that the writer using this stationery has typed a subject title in the space above the line, and it requests that any response to this letter include reference to the date of this document and the subject title, which would make matching up a reply to the original letter easier to find in the files.

      Hope this suggestion is helpful.

I think Gew44 has it right, regarding the two rubber-stampings on your envelope.

The round stamp is a return address and it refers to the Central Office of Hermann Göring's National Air Ministry Building located on the Wilhelmstrasse one block from the Reichschancellery, and the text inside the box is an official postage franking notice indicating governmental business.

        Hope this is helpful.

The text inside the rectagular box: " Frei durch Ablösung Reich " - means that the Government

(Deutsches Reich) had paid the letter postage blanket in general for all letter of the Government.

            Very helpful, thanks.

I appreciate the translations and information. I wonder why this stationary would have been going to the Central Office of Hermann Göring's National Air Ministry Building?
I read that Hitler assumed the title of Commander in Chief and Commander of Armed Forces as well as Supreme Commander after the Bloomberg-Fritch Affair in 1938. He combined this with Fuhrer (Leader and Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht) and then just Fuhrer after May 1942.
