I can't ID the uniform offhand, but it's definitely not Reichsbahn.

Could it be the Reichsforst (Forestry) ?
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

It looks as Berufsjäger, I am 100% sure about that.
It certainly is not Reichsbahn, nor forestry and surely not police.

One acron is Hifsjäger according to the "Uniformvorschrift für die
Berufsjäger" from January 29, 1937. The photo is anyway taken
before 1941 as then the acron with the shoulder-strap was
replaced by a pip (star). The acron came into being in 1937.

I do have photos where it is quite well visible, but I cannot show
them as they are under embargo!

              To compare:

instead of one acron, just two for the function Revierjäger:

              7-1-4-65 maus berufsjäger - kopie.jpg

7-1-4-71 dj berufsläger hut abzeichen maus - kopie.jpg

They are positioned directly onto the collar and not upon a collar-patch.
It is possible the photo from post 1 is post-war! But the pin upon the
              lapel tells otherwise (Deutsche Jägerschaft).
Forestry did wear an acorn upon the shoulder-strap and a leaf upon the
collar-patch, according to the "Dienstkleidungsvorschrift für den
Staatsforstdienst" from April 22, 1938, reprint from 1942, published
              in 1943.

                Berufsjäger

                Hello,

what organization belongs to the "Berufsjäger/Staatsforstdienst" or did it depend on the affiliation of the area (as example Forest near Airports = Luftwaffe)

                Thank you

                Greetings Oliver

They were part of the "Deutsche Jägerschaft", the German hunting organization.
Regulations for the Berufsjäger (professionel hunters) were published by the "Reichsbund Deutsche Jägerschaft".
They were a group that was examined (geprüft) and that is what is written about in the uniform-regulation:
Die Kleidung für die Geprüften Berufsjäger.
They actually were not from the Staatsforstdienst, but many of them were to be found in this organization however,
to make it more confusing. They could assist at areas as airports asnd such (when asked for them).

                    Hello Wilhelm,

are you sure with "Berufsjäger" or maybe a "Fortsanwärter (Reichsforst)" ?

Can't you see the difference betwene an acorn and a leaf
                      upon the collar?
For me the discussion is closed!

                        Hi at all!

I´m not sure about "Berufsjäger" or similar! It´s not known, that they had

                        -- collar tabs -- and

                        --Pipings around the collar--

Yes, you are right and this has puzzled me too. But what when the person served for a private patron (Jagdherr)? There is not much known about this and there are hardly any regulations. What there is, I do have. Most of it is related to the Reich, a Land or Gemeinde.
I would not know which organization also used the acorn upon the collar!
I wonder the photo to be postwar eventually?
