    Hitler signature verification

    Hi,

    Most appreciated if I can find out your opinions on whether Hitler’s signature on this photo is authentic. Just doesn’t seem to me to be the type of photo he would sign.

      A bad one. There are a lot of photos and postcards of Hitler at various events or repro studio shots with signatures floating around and they should be avoided. When going for a Hitler signature, make sure it’s one of the official pieces he and the party used to hand out to supporters, or something at least with solid provenance behind it.
